HOW DO THE MOTORIZED BIKES WORK?
With the built in clutch you maintain full function of the original bike. Pedal, shift, and ride your bike like normal.
The kit only adds about 19lbs to your bike. When you want to engage the engine simply release the clutch hand lever and the
engine springs to life. To power off simply press the included kill switch.
ARE THEY ECONOMICAL?
These
motorized bicycles are very strong. For motor vehicle standards, their emissions are clean. After break in they can get at
least 150 miles per gallon and on a half gallon tank, the gas powered motorized bicycle can drive up to 75 miles before a
refill is needed. Bicycle runs using a 2 cycle engine; meaning that lubrication is carried in the premixed gasoline.
If you travel too great of a distance; there is a possibility of damaging the engine. We recommend traveling short
trips up to 30 miles at a stretch.
DO THEY LAST?
An understanding
of mechanics and basic nuts & bolts will be necessary for assembling kits and maintaining the gas powered motorized bicycles.
Follow the break in and maintenance guidelines, learn to troubleshoot, and do not ride full throttle all the time. When
the engine is broken in properly, engine life expectancy is somewhere around 10,000 miles.
